Toner is an essential process in a good skin care routine, as it restore your skin's pH balance after cleaning. It also helps to remove impurities still left on the skin after cleansing and keep oil production under control. As for me, toner that help to soothe sensitive and acne prone skin will be my main choice.

By searching around, I found that Kiehl's iconic Calendula Herbal Products might be the one that suit my skin. Kiehl's claims that this toner is formulated with select herbal extracts to gently cleanse and soothe normal to oily skin types without the use of alcohol or harsh synthetic drying agent. It may be used to soothe and improve problem areas.
Catchy part of this toner is the calendula petals that are infused in the bottle. Calendula, also known as Marigold and plant pharmacological studies have shown that calnedula extract has anti-viral and anti-inflammatory properties often use in cosmetic products.

Another key ingredient will be Allantoin , a compound that found in Comfrey Root. Known to be bacteria inhibitor and it can soothe and reduce inflammation in various product formulation. Great Burdock, another key ingredients is a gentle, natural ingredient known for centuries to help improve dry skin. * All descriptions of key ingredients are taken from the Kiehl's official website

My Experience with Kiehl’s Calendula Herbal Extract Alcohol Free Toner:
I have been using this toner for 2 months, it made my skin's texture even and improved my skin drastically. For me, this toner is very very soothing because I am those girl with super sensitive skin that most of the toner will cause the skin irritated, inflamed and get very tight. Apart from that, I have to say it does help me in oil controlling and help in prevent breakout. When I have breakout, I will purposely patted the cotton pad with Calendula toner onto the affected area and you can see improvement on it. At the same time, I like the soothing scent of this toner that smells particularly like chrysanthemum tea. Overall I would recommend this for you guys based on my experience but everyone skin may vary. So, it's best to consult and get sample from the Kiehl's store before purchase.

Note: Two size available 250ml and 500ml

Hello everyone!
Today I am going to write a review on Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Pore Clay Mask, a souvenir from my brother who went to holiday in Korea.

It is one of the innisfree's best selling products and being loved by many. It claims to be 3 in 1 product that help to remove sebum , brightens skin, treats blemishes and also soothing and moisturizing.

The dirty grey jeju volcanic clay ingredients, made from hardaned lava, deeply cleanse pores to purify your skin.
It's free from mineal oil, animal-originated ingredients, artificial fragrance and  imidazolidinyl urea (a chemical that's is used as a preservative and antimicrobial in cosmetic products that will cause negative reaction such as dermatitis).

How to use:
1) After washing your face, gently apply toner on you face
2) Apply the mask over your entire face, avoiding your eye and lip areas.
3) Rinse off the mask with lukewarm water after 15 minutes. ( Use 1-2 times per week)

- Here is my horrible photo with the mask on the face XD

After application, I had a strange feeling between cold and warm but it's not a bad feeling and after a while you will get used to it. It will also  dried into a darker grey color and my face does feel tightened and there's no irritation during application.

The picture above is the before and after photo (sorry for the bad quality photo XD). Overall, I like the product. My skin feels fresher, brighter and tighter after using.  I can't noticed any difference in skin toning, but probably after a couple use!

The only complaint is it doesn't come with a spatula, slightly unhygienic to me but luckily I have several spatula at home =)

Where to purchase?
1) Innisfree store. Look for their store location at http://www.innisfreemalaysia.com/store.html
2) Hermo - https://www.hermo.my/?ucf=search-bar

Thanks for reading my review! Tell me which mask is your favorite in the comments and if you used this one what do you think about it.
